Raw honey is honey that has been spun out of the natural beeswax honey combs and contains enzymes and natural bee pollen. All the floral essences that came from the flowers remain and give our honey it’s amazing nose and taste, with a very smooth finish. Our raw honey is not processed and ultra filtered like many commercial honeys are. Our honey is not stripped of flavors and goodness. Our honey is not heated to high temperatures to push through filters. Heat destroys enzymes and flavors. It will have specs of pollen and natural beeswax. It may have an occasional honeybee leg (no worries). These are our “bona fides” and are our evidence of genuineness.

If you buy this honey, be forewarned…it just may be addictive! I’ve been eating honey all my life (and I just turned 78), and none can compare to the taste of Real Raw Honey…it is incredible… wonderful flavor with no after-taste and a great texture. Regular honey I use as a sweetener when I bake or cook, and spread it on toast (sometimes with peanut butter), or sweeten my tea, but with this I do all that, plus I mix it into Greek yogurt, put it into tea made from raw apple cider vinegar, cherry tea (made with cherry juice concentrate purchased from Northern Michigan as well), cranberry tea (made from concentrate purchased at a health food store), lemon juice tea and eat it with a spoon right from the jar. I don’t know if it’s the flowers the honey bees feed on or the way the honey is processed, but this honey is absolutely amazing!
